Some stuff I endorse...

These are some of the products that I really don't know how I survived without!

1-2-3 Magic

1-2-3 Magic - A parenting book on effective discipline for children ages 2-12. Amazing what a difference this short, easy method makes in discipline. Keep in mind the two rules: No Emotion, and No Talking. Makes all the difference.

Parenting with Love and Logic

Parenting with Love and Logic - an awesome book teaching effective attitude and approach to teaching children life lessons such as responsibility and self-motivation. Gives children a sense of self-worth. Allows them to make their own choices, while still fulfilling your requests. Gives you the opportunity and tools to make learning and discipline less of a drudgery.

Kangaroo Bibs

Kangaroo Bibs - awesome for kids who haven't quite mastered feeding themselves without making a GIGANTIC mess yet. Some bibs out there have a pouch - these have a trough! Catches soup or anything else your baby or toddler may not get quite to their mouth.

Magic Erasers

Magic Erasers - this gets 5 stars from me! Cleans up pretty much any mess my kids draw on: walls, counters, furniture, floor, cabinets, tables, chairs, etc. Sore arms from scrubbing at pen on the wall for hours? No more. A few seconds of wiping and that mess is gone!

Crock Pot

Crock Pot (search Google for crock pot or slow cooker if you don't already have one, or head to Target or Walmart) - my lifesaver when it comes to dinner. I honestly don't know what happens to my kids around 4:30 or 5:00, but some days dinner just wouldn't happen without my crock pot. I throw something in during the morning hours - maybe nap time or during Sesame Street or something like that - and when it is time for dinner, all I have to do is put it on the table!

Crock Pot Cookbooks

Crock Pot Cookbook (and another one here)- before I bought these, I thought the only thing I could make in my crock pot was a roast. And so that's all I ever used it for. But these books have TONS of recipes, from appetizers to main dishes to dessert. And they are (almost) all truly fast and easy to throw in. I usually spend less than 20 minutes putting something in the crock pot and starting some bread in the bread maker.
